Regulations of Use for the Multimedia Studio
  1. The borrowing unit must arrange the personnel who have passed the training on the use of the designated venue in the Centre to be stationed during the event. If the on-site instructor is not present during the borrowing period, the Centre has the right to terminate the use of venue for safety reasons, so as to ensure the safety of participants.
  2. At the beginning of the event, the on-site instructor must explain to all participants the precautions for the use of the Centre and the venue, the route for fire escape, and the event arrangement in case of bad weather, etc.
  3. All equipment in the venue must be operated in accordance with the operating instructions and precautions. If any damage is caused by violating the above requirements, the borrowing unit must be responsible for the corresponding maintenance costs.
  4. If the facilities at the venue are found to be damaged or missed, please do not use and submit the completed “Designated Venue Problem Report”.
  5. The door must be closed when testing or using audio equipment at the venue to avoid affecting users in other functional rooms.
  6. Those who use the venue can bring musical instruments, cameras or related equipment into the venue. The borrowing unit must clarify the use of the relevant equipment to avoid confusion with the equipment of this Bureau.
  7. It is prohibited to play or use items that infringe the interests of copyright holders, and the offender shall be responsible for related legal responsibilities.
  8. After using the venue, the floor box must be closed to prevent tripping hazards.
  9. After the event, the borrowing unit is required to clear up all items and restore the original condition of the venue.
  10. The borrowing unit must leave the venue at least 15 minutes before the  Centre closes.
  11. Should an accident involving a person occur during the event, the borrowing unit must inform the staff or security guard on duty at the Centre immediately, and submit the completed "Personal Accident Report" soon after the incident.

General rules of use
  1. Eating and drinking; swearing and rampaging are prohibited at the venue.
  2. The facilities at the venue shall not be soiled, damaged or destroyed.
  3. Please comply with the rules and follow the instructions from the staff at the venue.
  4. It is prohibited to move the facilities between different venues in the Centre.
  5. If an equipment is found to be damaged or abnormal, please inform the staff of the Centre immediately and stop using it.
  6. The borrowing unit must obtain approval from the Centre in advance before hanging banners or decorations, posting posters or slogans in the venue. The relevant items must be removed immediately after using the venue, and restore the original state of the venue.
  7. Before and after the event, the borrowing unit should go through an inventory of all the tools borrowed with the staff of the Centre.
  8. The borrowing unit should communicate with the staff of the Centre and provide sufficient personnel to maintain order at the venue. All participants are required to comply with the regulations.
  9. In emergency, the borrowing unit must inform the staff or security guard on duty of the Centre immediately.
  10. The Centre will not manage any left items on your behalf. The Centre is not responsible for any loss of property that does not belong to the Centre.
  11. The Centre has purchased third-party public liability insurance for all visitors. The borrowing unit must purchase personal accident insurance for the participants to increase the coverage.
  12. On the grounds that multiple safety declarations have not been heeded, the Centre reserves the right to terminate the event immediately.
  13. If the user violates these regulations and does not change after repeated persuasion, the staff of the Centre has the right to ask him to leave the venue.
  14. The Centre reserves all the rights to the final interpretation.
Introduction of Healthy Life Education Centre

Formally opened since 26th June 2016, the Healthy Life Education Centre is a major innovative anti-drug education facility under the Social Welfare Bureau of the Macao SAR, which covers a total area of approximately 1,800 square meters.

Objectives: Through different cultural, sports and arts activities, it aims to promote healthy lifestyle and deliver anti-drug messages to Macao citizens, especially children, youth and their parents, in order to create a drug-free society.

The Centre provides different facilities for preventive and professional groups, co-organizes activities in the theme of healthy living and anti-drugs. In order to allow the entities to make better use of the facilities in each functional room, the Centre provides various training programmes for the staff of the entities every year. Any qualified staff may organize and lead their clients to take part in activities at the Centre, to explore the young talents and to provide a platform. At the same time, in order to ensure the service quality and safety, all the venues must be reserved by qualified or trained representatives of the entities.

There are two entrances on the ground floor of the Centre, one is mainly for the students and teachers who come to join the Healthy Life Education Programmes. The main functional rooms are located on the first floor, including : 3 classrooms for Healthy Life Education, Theme Experience Zone, Multifunctional Hall, Multimedia Studio, Information Display Zone, Reading Zone, etc.

IV. Rights and obligations

  1. The rights and obligations of the reserving entity
    Local organizations or individuals are given priority, fairly apply for using facilities at the Centre and join activity; all users must comply with the regulations and staff’s instructions.
  2. The rights and obligations of the Centre:
    According to the laws and regulations, the Centre is responsible for managing properly the facilities and equipment to ensure effective operation; the Centre reserves all the rights to decide to organize and provide activities consistent with the public interest and the purpose of the Centre.

Regulations of Use for the Game Zone
  1. Prior to entering the Game Zone, please read the relevant procedure and instruction to be familiarize with the rules of each game.
  2. The number of players for each game is limited. All players must be disciplined to wait in line.
  3. After playing the game once, the player needs to wait in line again for another try.
  4. Do not occupy the game for a long time or play repeatedly.
  5. For the "008 Detective" game, children aged 10 or below must be accompanied by parents or adults.
Regulations of Use for the Theme Experience Zone
  1. The borrowing unit must arrange the personnel who have passed the training on the use of the designated venue in the Centre to be stationed during the event. If the on-site instructor is not present during the borrowing period, the Centre has the right to terminate the use of venue for safety reasons, so as to ensure the safety of participants.
  2. At the beginning of the event, the on-site instructor must explain to all participants the precautions for the use of the Centre and the venue, the route for fire escape, and the event arrangement in case of bad weather, etc.
  3. All equipment in the venue must be operated in accordance with the operating instructions and precautions. If any damage is caused by violating the above requirements, the borrowing unit must be responsible for the corresponding maintenance costs.
  4. If the facilities or equipment at the venue are found to be damaged or lost, their use must be suspended. Please inform the staff of the Centre and fill in the electronic "Low-event Adventure Equipment Borrowing List and Post-use Checklist (Borrowing List)" and "Designated Venue Problem Report".
  5. The borrowing unit must remind participants to note their limit and pay close attention to their physical condition to avoid accidents and injury.
  6. Activities of low-event adventure challenge, edge rope and rope course are limited to the designated locations in the Theme Experience Zone.
  7. After using the equipment and tools, the borrowing unit must conduct a safety inspection and return it to its original storage location.
  8. Should the aluminium aerial workbench need to be borrowed, please return it back to its original location and lock the wheels.
  9. At the end of the event, the used helmets must be cleaned with disinfectant spray to maintain the hygiene of the equipment.
  10. The borrowing unit must leave the venue at least 15 minutes before the Centre closes.
  11. Should an accident involving a person occur during the event, the borrowing unit must inform the staff or security guard on duty at the Centre immediately, and submit the completed "Personal Accident Report " soon after the incident.

Regulations of Use for the Reading Zone
  1. Please be polite and tidy.
  2. No food or pets are allowed in the Centre, except for special circumstances.
  3. To use the computers in the Centre, please contact the staff and adhere to the following:
    1. 3.1 Internet access should mainly be used for Centre services;
    2. 3.2 It is not allowed to install any computer softwares or programmes, or access the data from the computer at the Centre;
    3. 3.3 It is strictly forbidden to enter, distribute or access inappropriate websites and information.
