PMMA, PMA and ecstasy MDMA belong to the same type of amphetamine-type stimulants, usually made into tablets. The toxicity is 2 to 3 times more than ecstasy. The impact takes place slowly. Fatal risk may increase if the abuser takes in over dose at a time.

1. After use, it will cause excitement, hallucinations, rapid heartbeat, sweating and other side effects;
2. Slight poisoning may produce anxiety, restlessness, high blood pressure, pulse and breathing acceleration, pupil expansion, muscle spasms, teeth bite, hand shake, sweating, hallucination and other symptoms;
3. Severe poisoning may lead to high fever, shock, arrhythmia, rhabdomyolysis, acidosis, hyperkalemia, pulmonary edema, cerebral edema, stroke, convulsions, coma, acute liver and kidney failure, systemic bleeding and sudden death.
