The drug prevention education and publicity work in Macao is mainly carried out by the Drug Abuse Prevention Division of Department of Prevention and Treatment of Problem Gambling and Drug Dependence of Social Welfare Bureau, MSAR, which conducts drug prevention education and publicity to schools, communities, families and people at all levels through lectures, exhibitions, training courses and the media. Comprehensively spread anti-drug information and related materials to the society. Non-governmental organizations are also encouraged and funded to organize drug abuse prevention activities, so as to raise public awareness of drug control and build a drug-free community. "Healthy Life Education Centre" under The Drug Abuse Prevention Division is a facility to carry out healthy life education programs to primary students and provide various cultural, physical and artistic activities to teenagers and residents to deliver information on drug control and promote healthy living.
