Khat
Khat (Catha edulis), also known as “East Africa Opium”, qat tea, Arabic tea, is a plant native of the region of Corn of Africa and the Arabian Peninsula. It looks like amaranth when it is freshly harvested. It looks like tea leaves after drying. Therefore it is difficult for ordinary people to clearly distinguish.
Khat is mainly abused by drinking in tea or chewing. Khat contains the chemical stimulant cathinone [cathinone (β-keto-amphetamine)], which is easily decomposed
